| Make sure you have read both out saftey instructions safety instructions and basic candle making instructions before you do any of these projects. This
is a great method for making candles really quickly as the ice really
speeds up the rate at which the wax sets. You can use this method using
any pillar/church or dinner candle as a base. It is also a great project
for economically decorating and completely changing ready made candles.
If you want to make several why not
Place your ready made candle into your mould and push its wick up through the hole in the top of the mould.
Seal it with mould seal Stand
the mould up. Ensuring that the candle remains
upright surround the candle with small ice cubes. Pour in the melted
wax and stearin mix at 80ct
You
are now ready to pour the wax and stearin mix into your prepared candle
mould. Pour it to a level which covers all the ice
cubes. You do not have to top up this candle. Take the candle out of the mould. Because you have used so much stearin it should come out really easily.
If you like you can decorate the holes left by the ice cubes but applying some gold rub on paint to their edges. Your finished candle! Because you have used so much stearin it should come out really easily.
The
same method used with a round mould! (You do not
have to use a round candle as a core - a small pillar candle will
work just as well.
