projects. Make sure you have read both out safety instructions safety instructions and basic candle making instructions before you do any of these tutorials.

Now you are ready to untie your candle and cut off its base. Untie it from its hook and take your sharp knife. Cut cleanly across its base. Then stand it up and make sure it stands straight. If not straighten it out.

Admire your finished candle.

There is one carving technique we have not covered here which is when you cut a 7mm long cut with a lino cutter
out from the inside edge the star and then twist it into a thin piece of what likes like a swirling pattern stick of rock!
You than place the twisted bit back up against the edge of the candle.
