Make sure you have read both out saftey instructions safety instructions and basic candle making instructions before you do any of these projects.

These technique which was used in the last project is great for making snowball candles at Christmas. Here are just a few ideas!

You Will Need- a meted pot of wax and stearin mix. The bags of wax and stearin mix that we sell are ideal for this
technique as you can slowly add the powder to the melted wax and start whipping - it is quicker than just waiting
for the right consistency.

Whip the wax  with a fork.

Whip the wax  with a fork. We have used an illustrated from the last project for this, but for the following ideas
more wax and a larger container would be better!

When the wax is really stiff  you can now roll it into your hands into a snowball candle. When you have formed
the ball with your hands make a hole through the candle with a pencil and then push some primed wick into it.
Close the wax up around the wick at the top of the candle and put on a flat surface to even out its base. Lift it up
and put it in a pot of cold water to cool.
You can also achieve the same effect by dipping a ready made ball candle into a pot of dipped wax. Small Snowball
candles are lovely at Christmas.

Using the same technique and   scooping up the wax with an ice cream scoop you can make ice cream candles!
