| Make sure you have read both out saftey instructions safety instructions and basic candle making instructions before you do any of these projects. This
project shows one method of filling a bowl with wax and placing three
wicks. You can adapt it to any bowl, but always make sure that it the
bowl is flammable the wick do not go all the way to the bottom of the
bolw/container you have chosen. Also the wicks should be in the centre
and not too close to the edge! Melt the wax and add dye and perfume in the usual way. pour a little of the wax into the bowl (about 5mm).
Place three 1/2" (1cm) primed wicks or wicks with sustainers into the wax leaving the about 4cm apart. Secure the top of the wicks using chopsticks. Pour in more ivory wax to within 2cm of the top of the bowl.
Top
up your candle. You will probably have to top it up a few times as it
will sink quite abit. Make sure that piece the surface
each time before you pour. Decorate the surface of the wax if you wish!
