Make sure you have read both out saftey instructions safety instructions and basic candle making instructions before you do any of these projects.

This is a great method of transforming candles really quickly!! You can use this method using any pillar/church or dinner candle as a base. It is also a great project for economically decorating and completely changing ready made candles. You will need:-

A small bowl
Some washing up liquid
A dinner candle (or you can use a round candle as used in the example picture above.
About 175gms of wax and stearin mix
10gms of microcyrstallin hardender.
Have a bucket or container at least 30cm deep full of cold water ready .

Coat the inside of a bowl - we have used an ice cream sundae bowl - with washing up liqued/

Place you candle upright into the bowl.

Pour your wax heated wax mixture of stearin, wax and microcrystalline hard around the base of the candle to within about a centimeter of the top of your bowl.
