The second stage is making the froth ontop! This technique involved whipping air into molten wax in much thew same way as you whip an egg white - except it does not need as vigorous whipping. You will need an old fork, and a container to whip the wax in - tin foil ones are idealas they can be thrown away afterwards.

Pour some undyed wax  into a container and leave it to cool until it has formed a layer of skin about 3mm deep.
Then take a fork and whip the wax continually bringing it from the sides of your container to to middle. The wax will
begin to look like snow.

When the wax is like snow using  a spoon and your finger push it (it will still be quite warm!) into the top of the
glass all around the wick.

Heat the red wax in a small container. When it has almost set take out a small amount and roll it up into a ball.

Place the red wax cherry you have just made into the whipped wax, and push in a straw. Your sundae candle
is now complete.
